VISION
With great pleasure and great honor that Italy has the opportunity to welcome the orienteers from all over the world.It is the first time Italy organizes
the World Orienteering and Trail Orienteering Championships.
The World Championships will take place from July 5-13, 2014 and it will be a great sporting event. A new formula will be adopted for the first time: the Sprint Relay.
5 medals will be awarded in the WOC final races: Sprint, Sprint Relay, Long, Middle and Relay. 3 are the medals awarded in the WTOC final races: TempO and PreO.
The World Orienteering Championships 2014, the TrailO World Championships (WTOC) and the 5 Giorni d'Italia (WOC Tour) will grant a high quality action-packed week in the wonderful areas of Trentino and Veneto.
The WOC-WTOC in Italy will try to go beyond the boundaries of race to "live" the emotions of the event and to emphasize the Orienteering philosophy intended as meeting between sport and outdoor
culture to enhance competitors, the public and the emotions experienced related to the territory, the side events, the sponsors.
SIDE EVENTS
Not only sports event: during the WOC-WTOC there are side events of entertainment for tourists, sportsmen, carers and families to discover the nature, culture,
history and tastes of the territories of Veneto and Trentino.

With the guides you will visit some of the most significant historical places of the Great War in its centenary.
ARENA
The place of free access where the audience sitting comfortably in the lawns in front of the arrival live the excitement of the WOC-WTOC in direct contact with the champions.
