It was held in Venice, in the Hall Pedenin of the Palazzo Balbi , home of the Regional Council of Veneto, the press conference of presentation of the World Foot and trail Orienteering Championships (WOC-WTOC) scheduled in July 5th to 12th, Veneto and in Trentino.

The Tourism Councillor of the Region Veneto Marino Finozzi welcomed and emphasized the important implications of the event for tourism in Veneto. During the press conference speeches by the president of the organizing committee of the World Orienteering Championships Gian Pietro Mazzeni, the president of the Italian Federation Mauro Gazzerro, the councillor for sports in the Municipality of Asiago Franco Sella, the regional president of CONI Gianfranco Bardelle and Stefano Ravelli, event manager of the festival, who brought greetings from the authorities of Trentino.
In the room there were also two athletes, the Austrian Gernot Kerschbaumer and the azure Alessio Tenani who explained in detail the main features of the discipline and the many races scheduled for the upcoming World Championships WOC-WTOC of Veneto and Trentino.
